DAVID BLANK

David Blank, a fine art photographer from California, studied at the Brooks Institut of Photography in Santa Barbara and after being a commercial photographer for many years, he created a hybrid camera that consists of a Russian twin-lens reflex and a Polaroid camera. This special camera allows him to use more of his intuition when taking black and white photos of landscapes, which makes his pictures so intriguing and gives them an abstract effect. David Blank prints the square images as they are shot and doesn’t crop them.
